Made in a family-owned factory using certified 100% post-consumer recycled polyester. Millions of water bottles were reclaimed and reused to make this bag. They strive to use recycled materials for the trims, accessories and packaging whenever possible. rPET stands for recycled polyethylene terephthalate, or recycled PET. PET is a strong, durable and recyclable material that is used for soft drink bottles, water bottles and food jars. Essentially, rPET takes previously created plastic, including plastic bottles, and breaks it down into tiny flakes which can then be reused in other products removing and repurposing that waste from landfill.
