Elya is the perfect lightweight hat for any time of the year. Colour: Natural
Woven in Madagascar with raffia, cotton and wire. Each hat takes 2 and a half days to make by hand. Every piece is 100% handmade from the harvesting to the crochet work.
Double crochet design and adjustable inner raffia ties. It has an inner cotton band around the crown for comfort and wire to adjust the brim.

"Our Company “Made in Mada” created in 2014 after we moved to Sydney from Madagascar.
By creating work for the locals, the establishment of Made in Mada assisted in maintaining traditional Madagascan crochet and weaving production and provided workers with a sustainable income.
The nature of the products and growth of the business in the past few years means their income is not only seasonal as we give them the opportunity to work all year round.
