This Conference of Birds looks a lot like Swifts which are sadly facing extinction in the UK. There was recently a big movement to save them and many people installed swift nest boxes which has been quite successful.

World Swift Day is the 7th June.  

They look a lot like the little swallows that often come into our office. These little guys were the inspiration behind this cushion.
